Two wonderful Weddings
June 27, 2026

Above: Spending some quality time with my kiddos in West Virginia. Sharon, Ziva and I flew back to the U.S. in June and made our way to West Virginia where Austin's family lives and where Kira would enter into the covenant of marriage.

Above: Austin's dad Archie and step-mom Aaron. We were so blessed with Austin's family's hospitality and generosity and the spirit of unity in Christ we experienced throughout our time together.

Above: We arrived a few days early to help with some of the prep work for the reception. The wedding ceremony and reception were held outdoors and God provided beautiful weather for the day even though severe storms were forecasted.

Above: We were also thankful that our son Ben was able to make the trip so that we could have the whole family together. Ben has been living in the U.S. for a year and is living and working in the Philadelphia area.

Above: Brenda who spent many years serving with us in Hungary and now lives in the U.S. was Kira's choice for hair stylist. Brenda was like an aunt to our kids when they were growing up.

Above: Kira just hours away from her walking down the aisle on her wedding day.

Above: My brother Bob and sister in law Becky also made the trip and were just a week away from their own daughter Anna B's wedding!

We're so thankful for God's provision of Austin in Kira's life and for their hearts that desire to follow Jesus. They will be living in Virginia as they begin this new season of life. Pray for them to develop a strong foundation as husband and wife and that they be blessed with the oneness that God has called them to in marriage to honor each other and to honor Jesus.
My niece Anna B's wedding

Above: My brothers Sam and Bob and my mom Su. We got a wonderful 'two blessings for one trip' deal in June as we were able to be with family again for my neice Anna B's wedding.

Above: Elianna and Kira sang a wonderful rendition of "The Blessing" over Jared and Anna B.

Above: Mom still dancing at 80. What a gift to be able to be home with family in July and celebrate God's grace in bringing Anna B and Jared and Kira and Austin together. We praise God for these new family members and are thankful for the confidence we can have in Jesus to continue to teach and lead our children in marriage and new family experiences.

Back to Hungary!

Above: Ziva and Sharon flew back to Hungary after Anna B and Jared's wedding so that she could attend her 8th grade graduation. Ziva has developed good friendships in her class over the years and will miss her friends as she'll be attending a high school in a different area.

Above: Some of you may have seen me at BVC Sunday morning as I stayed an extra few weeks after Sharon returned so that I could be with my mom for help with care. There happened to be baptisms happening this Sunday and it was a great encouragement to hear how Jesus was calling people to Himself and transforming their lives. I'm writing this just hours away from my flight back to Hungary.
Please Pray!

Above: Photos from a previous English Camp for middle school kids in our hometown of Petofibanya. Roger (pictured center) will be facilitating English Camp for kids that he teaches in the local middle school. There are over 70 kids signed up and there will be a team from Roger's home church coming out to serve together. Please pray for this camp outreach that begins on Monday!

Above: The weather in Hungary has been hitting temperatures from 90 to 100 degrees which can be an issue with many homes and the school not having air conditioning. We would appreciate prayers for health, endurance, strength and of course cooler weather as we have multiple camps planned throughout the summer.
A week after the middle school English Camp, we have an English Camp for teens and young adults with multiple teams of people coming together from various churches (Including Bible Fellowship Church Newark)! Please pray for all the preparation work needed in advance and for God to give camp staff the unity of the Spirit and a powerful testimony to lead many to Jesus.
I (Allen) continue to have lot's of planning and prep for our two VBS camps coming up at the end of July into August. I would appreciate your prayers for wisdom and for God's provision of all that we need to bless the kids and parents with His love and the Gospel message.

We look forward to God's continued grace to transform the lives of children, teens and young adults in Hungary this summer through these camp ministries. We appreciate your prayers for our family, and these camps that God would open hearts of Hugarians and continue to draw many to Himself!
Thank you all for your care for us and your partnership in sharing the love and truth of Christ with Hungarians.
