Puppet Ministry Day 14 & 15
April 08, 2015
Yesterday, our team visited the town of Hatvan to present our Easter puppet show to adults with mental disabilities at the Rainbow Care Center.
Above: Norbi, one of the team members who is serving as a puppeteer for the first time.
On Wednesday, we had our final two shows for this year’s Easter Puppet Ministry in the neighboring town of Rozsaszentmarton (just a few minute drive from our hometown of Petofibanya).
Above: Magdi, one of the preschool workers, attends a weekly small group that teammate Dezso holds at his house in Rozsaszentmarton. Please pray for her and for her husband to come to understand the Gospel and put their faith in Jesus.
Our final stop was at the local community center where church members from Petofibanya help facilitate a Mothers of Preschoolers group that meets weekly.
Thank all of you for your prayers for us and for this ministry. Many seeds were planted and we were able to proclaim the good news of the Gospel to around 2000 kids and many teachers and parents as we traveled from school to school over the past three weeks. We rejoice in God’s work in raising up enough workers to have two teams and for the Holy Spirit keeping the team strengthened and unified as we served our Lord together. Team members who were hit with sickness as well as their children recovered and were healed. All of our puppet equipment including sound, lighting, and props worked well and God protected us as traveled throughout northeastern Hungary with a trailer in tow. Praise God for this open door in public schools in Hungary where we are free to proclaim and sing that “Jesus is Risen”. May these seeds produce lasting fruit and may the Lord raise up a new generation of Hungarians that find their pleasure in living for His glory.

Puppet Ministry Day 13

Szarvasgede
Above: Hugi, who suffered from a stroke years ago, has limited ability with the right side of her body but no disability in her heart. She is full of love and compassion for kids and has a servants heart. Hugi also joins us every week when we serve in the town of Bogács. It is a blessing to have her on our team.
Above: This year’s song has been really popular with the kids. We often hear them continuing to sing the refrain, “He lives, He lives, the Lord lives” as we are packing up and leaving.
Above: The kids trying to warn the duck of a dangerous fox. Thankfully, the farm dog comes to the rescue. Check out the girl on the far right…she can’t take the suspense.
Above: After the show, one of the children rushes to flip through the pages of the children’s magazine we distribute at each show.
Because of a schedule change and a show being moved to next week, the team has off tomorrow. We’re thankful for some time to rest. The team will be back on the road on Saturday. We appreciate your continued prayer for protection from sickness and healing for those who are still suffering like Alina and Gyozo. I would also appreciate prayer for the message for this Sunday’s Easter worship service. We’re thankful for all of you standing with us in prayer!
